I was very satisfied with my meal, not to mention the view of the ocean! The chairs were so cozy and the hosts and servers so polite as expected of Philippine culture. They actually refilled my water! Most do not even bother but thanks to them I was able to drink my desired 4 glasses in these hot temperatures. My cousin said their adobo was dry which is unfortunate and we also revived our calamari past our dining time, we had to get it to go. It was chewy and barely crunchy but the flavor was so good i'll let them get away with it. Beautiful job, this makes me want to go back

My insane craving for stir-fried hofan started last week, when my lola asked if I wanted leftover hofan noodles and it turned out to be chapchae. Needless to say, I sought out for my rice noodles. Makansutra is a Southeast Asian food village which features classic dishes coming from primarily Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and our own. It also borrows some Chinese and American. One thing I love is how encompassing the menu is. I've been a frequent visitor of this restaurant for the past 5 years, and every time I come back I still have a hard time ordering. My favourites, though, have to be the laksa, salt & pepper spareribs, crispy seafood noodles and cha hie mie. I've tried the dishes when in Singapore and Malaysia and I can really say it holds up to its origins. I suggest pairing your meal with a refreshing and light glass of lemon barley, or since it's summer, have iced kopi tarik at the end of your meal.
